mimspiration: Thanksgiving Memories

mimspiration: Thanksgiving Memories

As we grow up there are so many things that we get to do, experience, learn, enjoy and encounter. One of my favorite things to look back on are memories, especially Thanksgiving Memories. Thanksgiving is a time for family, friends and food. So many of my Thanksgiving days were full of all my family and many lovely meals.

I am thankful for my family, my friends, my husband, my animals, my job, my talents, my life and for being here on this earth to have adventures. What are you thankful for?

This year the Creed/Goza family went to Clayton, Georgia for a little Dillard House Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed some amazing food, but my favorite part of our trip was when we woke up Thanksgiving morning all 6 of us went to Tallulah Gorge and did some hiking...the million step death march! It was a beautiful fall day and so many scenic views were shared with our family. The last part of our day was an amazing dinner at the Dillard House. Many thanks to my mom and dad for this new Thanksgiving tradition!

Love to all and I hope you have MANY reasons to be thankful!!!

mimspiration: October

mimspiration: October.

Every October I am reminded of many many women I have met and many many people who have been affected by breast cancer. October is breast cancer awareness month and another reminder of the many who are fighting this dreaded disease.

That's why I work at Palmetto Health Foundation. That's why I help every year with the Walk for Life. Founded by First Lady Beth Coble, the Walk celebrated its 20th year this year raising over $400,000 for Palmetto Health Breast Centers. All funds raised with the Walk for Life stay here in South Carolina to help he many people affected by breast cancer.

Every year I am in the park, helping with so many different functions of the Walk, but I always take the time to stop and take it in, even for just a second. When I look out into that sea of people...the sea of people who are all there for the same reason and for their friends and loved ones, it's so amazing I can almost not bear it. How so many can come together fighting one cause is just awesome.

Who do you walk for? I walk for Michele, Sherry, Pam, Cara, Isabelle, Lee, Elaine, Bren, Anita, Jeanelle and so many more...I walk for LIFE. I walk for you. I walk for me. I walk for us all.

If you would like to support Palmetto Health's Breast Centers please visit www.palmettohealthfoundation.org.

To those of you who walked, who will walk or who have been touched by breast cancer, I think of you and I pray that our efforts help millions. I can't thank you enough for your support of Palmetto Health Foundation's Walk for Life.

Mr. T...not I pity the fool

mimspiration: Mr. Samuel Tenenbaum, or as I like to call him, Mr. T.

Why would Mr. T be a mimspiration? Well, his energy, enthusiasm, creativeness and positive attitude mimspire me to go above and beyond, to reach higher, to push farther and to always question the norm. I appreciate Mr. T's leadership and his encouragement as he is on a mission to take Palmetto Health Foundation to new heights.

Thanks Mr. T, for mimspiring me.
